“I was working on a song with one of my songwriting partners, Meredith Meyer, and she looked at me and said, ‘You have to hear this girl. I was at an open-mic night at this Cafe, and this eighteen year-old singer-songwriter blew me away. I practically tackled her for her number.’ I took one look at Jenn’s low-res video on YouTube, and started stalking her! She is unbelievable.”
“I’d been looking for young vocalists for a movie project about a music college, and Jenn was the right package: young, talented, and with a voice that blew me away. You cannot believe this enormous voice is coming out of this itty bitty girl. She is a total powerhouse.”
“I started trying her voice out on different songs, and she is just so versatile. There isn’t anything she can’t sing. I was working with Tobias Karlsson and Sofi Bonde on a song for the movie, and they’d done a song called ‘Nobody’ for Sofi’s upcoming album that I adored. Tobias loved Jenn’s voice and they offered up the song for Jenn’s debut on THE SEVEN RAYS SOUNDTRACK. Considering TK wrote my favorite song of the last year, “Show Me What I’m Looking For,” by Carolina Liar, I was ecstatic. Jenn was in the studio recording the vocal within a matter of days. Tobias produced a delicious track, and here we are. Some things are just meant to be.”
